Image of the Day

The other day I posted a reworking of an image I created based on Verdi's Aida.  Here is another one, Act 1, Scene 1, A Grand Hall in the Palace of Memphis.

It's been wonderful to revisit this unfinished project once more.  From the bare bones of an idea I had in design school, which earned me top marks ***cough*** I've had since time to revisit it.

A few times as it happens, as a one dear friend can attest to...the second unfinished series is on his wall.  The first, and only complete, went with a long lost friend of mine into the depths of Kings Cross.

So...my tribute to Giuseppe Verdi for his Bicentennial is to, for once and for all, finish my scenic concept for Aida.
